What to expect on your first visit.
Most patients arrive with a few questions: How long will this take? What will Dr. Sabeti actually do? Will I leave with a plan? Here’s what your first visit looks like — so you arrive prepared and leave with clarity.
Call 765-622-0600Evaluation, explanation, plan.
Plan on roughly an hour for your initial appointment. Most of that time is spent understanding your situation thoroughly — not rushing into treatment.
Thorough evaluation
Dr. Sabeti reviews your history, current concerns, prior care, and goals. She’ll perform a hands-on physical assessment and, when appropriate, x-rays or other imaging review. The goal is understanding the whole picture — not just where it hurts.
Clear explanation
Once she’s evaluated you, Dr. Sabeti walks you through what she found in plain language. You’ll understand what’s contributing to your symptoms, what’s likely to respond well, and what may take longer or require a different approach.
Individualized plan
You’ll leave with a care plan tailored to your specific situation — which therapies are appropriate, expected frequency, and what success looks like. No pressure, no commitment beyond what makes sense for you.
What to bring.
A short list — most people have everything already.
Helpful to bring
- A list of your current symptoms and when they started
- Any imaging (x-rays, MRI, CT) from previous providers, if available
- A list of medications and supplements you’re taking
- Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing for the assessment
Optional but useful
- Notes about what’s helped or made symptoms worse
- A list of activities you want to return to
- Questions you’d like to ask Dr. Sabeti
- The names of any other providers currently involved in your care
FAQ.
If you don’t see your question here, call us at 765-622-0600 — we’re happy to answer anything before your visit.
How long will my first visit take?
Plan on about an hour. Most of that time is conversation and assessment — Dr. Sabeti wants to fully understand your situation before recommending anything. Follow-up visits are typically shorter.
Will I receive treatment on the first visit?
Sometimes. If your evaluation is clear and Dr. Sabeti has identified an appropriate starting therapy, she may begin care during your initial visit. Other situations call for additional imaging or assessment first. She’ll explain what’s appropriate for you.
Do I need a referral from my doctor?
No. You can schedule directly. If you’re already working with another provider, we’re happy to coordinate care — just let us know.
What conditions does Dr. Sabeti treat?
Patients come for a wide range of issues — back and neck pain, headaches, joint discomfort, recovery from injury, chronic stress, sleep disruption, postural strain, and persistent symptoms that haven’t fully resolved with other care. If you’re not sure whether your situation is a fit, call and we’ll talk it through.
Is the care painful?
No. Dr. Sabeti uses gentle, instrument-assisted chiropractic adjustments rather than aggressive manual manipulation. Acupuncture, laser, TECAR, and traction are all comfortable. Most patients are surprised by how mild the sensations are.
How quickly can I be seen?
Most new patients are seen within a week. If you’re in significant discomfort, call and we’ll do our best to accommodate sooner.
How many visits will I need?
It depends entirely on your condition. Some patients need a few sessions; others — especially those in the Rehab 360 program — work through a structured multi-week plan. Dr. Sabeti will give you a realistic estimate after evaluating you, and reassesses progress along the way.
Can I bring my children, or is care just for adults?
Dr. Sabeti sees patients of all ages. Children, adults, and seniors all benefit from different aspects of integrative care. Just let us know who you’d like to schedule and we’ll go from there.
